This colorful, gourmet thoroughfare is a paradise for dates, strings of dried figs, peanuts, Ourika nuts, almonds and other delicacies. Vendors are happy to let you sample their wares. This is also where you'll often find street vendors selling sesame, pistachio and orange blossom-flavored nougats, which you'll be sure to try. Here, too, you can nibble a small piece of this delicacy, much appreciated by children, and leave with a quality assortment for a handful of dirhams.
