Souk on a small square in Marrakech, home to several stalls with pyramids of olives in all colors
On this small square, several stalls offer olive pyramids. Black, green, spicy, you'll have a wide choice. Jars of candied lemons, peppers and other home-made pickles are jostling on the shelves. Take the opportunity to discover amlou, a spread with argan oil that Moroccans love. On the other side of the olive stalls is the souk aux méchouis: sensitive souls refrain! It is the kingdom of calf's heads and sheep's feet. You will be offered to try the tanjia, the local dish par excellence.
