A short, family-friendly hike, ideal for discovering the Cabeza del Indio, a surprising rock formation
This lovely hike starts directly from the town centre and begins with a path that will take you first to the Mirador del Azul, 8 km from the village centre. The panorama over the valley is sublime and you can even see Lago Puelo in the distance. Continuing on, you will come across the Cabeza del Indio, a surprising rock formation. You can also go and admire the Escondida waterfall. It can be reached in 2 hours via Azcuénaga street, after crossing the bridge over the Quemquemtreu river. A short and accessible walk that will suit the whole family.
