Every year in July, the Sanur Giant Kite Festival attracts Balinese from all over the island.
Every year in July is held the festival of giant kites Sanur which attracts Balinese from all over the island for the beauty of colors and religious vocation. Teams from different districts(banjar) compete in the sky with kites up to 10 meters. Most of them represent fish, birds, bats or leaves, in white, black and red colors. The wind season is from June to September, when the Balinese try their favorite sport on the beach.
