Every month for a week, traditional buffalo races are held in Negara, Jembrana and Lovina. The name derives from the word "kepung", which translates as "hunt". Buffalo chase each other in colorful buffalo races, one of the region's most picturesque attractions. Remember to come early to try and get a good seat, and when we say "early"... it's very early. The races start at 7.30 a.m. and are so popular that places are hard to come by..
