PURA NARMADA
Hindu temple built by the King of Mataram in 1727 and featuring water springs reputed to be the water of immortality.
The King of Mataram had Pura Narmada built in 1727. The site is rich in history and cult significance. It's best to hire a guide, as little information is available about the site's history. Pura Narmada is a popular destination for locals, and its 3-hectare park is sacred to Hindus. The water springs under the Balai Petirtaan, coming directly from Mount Rinjani, are reputed to be the water of immortality. If you wish to enter the room, you'll need to wear a yellow scarf.
