The Três Picos (Three Peaks) hike, an 8 km walk along 3 mountains at altitudes of between 1,300 and 1,800 m, offers incredible panoramic views of the Mantiqueira mountain range. Access is via a steep 7 km trail through the Atlantic forest. Allow for a full day's walk. It offers magnificent views over the Paraíba river valley, the park and the foothills of the Mantiqueira and Serra do Mar mountain ranges. Fill in a liability form at the park entrance, visitor center or Maromba complex.
