This casa do lago bistrô is a wonderful discovery. Even though it's in the middle of the coffee valley, you feel like you're in a straw hut on the Etang de Thau, with a fisherman's boat beside the terrace and an unobstructed view of the lake. The cuisine is varied and delicious, with an emphasis on fish and seafood. Try the sole meunière. Local products are given pride of place, and pasta is fresh and made on the spot. The wine, on the other hand, is not always Brazilian. There's even a nice Gascony wine.
