SAMBA DA TREZE – SAMBA DO BIXIGA

Do not miss this authentic appointment: every Friday is a traditional roda of street samba, on the sidewalk directly, in front of the church. The Samba de Treze is organised by the Madeira de Lei group, which wants to revive the first tradition of this popular music, celebrated on the pavés of Bela Vista rather than in confined rooms. The group directory is varied: Roberto Ribeiro, Cartola, Jorge Aragão, Noel Rosa, Paulinho da Viola, João Nogueira, Benito de Paula, Nelson Cavaquinho… Musicians are excellent and the show is finally to watch the Brazilians dance so well their national samba.
