White block of triangular format with a red opening, the Ibirapuera auditorium is signed Oscar Niemeyer. The project dates back to the 1950s, but was completed between 2003 and 2005. The interior is just as incredible, with a long circular ramp and a large red sculpture on the ceiling signed by the artist Tomie Ohtake (1913-2015). A wide range of cultural events (classical and popular music concerts, theatre, dance...). There is a music school with 170 young students selected from the public school system.
