TEATRO RENAULT
This magnificent theater, inaugurated in 1929, became the Renault Theater after its latest "naming" in 2012, after having been known by Paulists as a cinema under the names "Paramount Theater" and "Abril Theater". This majestic establishment, with its neo-classical and Art Deco facade, the first sound cinema in Latin America, is undoubtedly one of Sampa's finest theaters. With a capacity of 1,500, it plays host to the great Broadway and European musicals. "Les Misérables", among others, has been presented here twice.
