The gay pride of São Paulo is the largest in South America. It all started in 1996 with only 300 people, today there are more than 3 million participants. It is a great festive parade and a concert to close the event.
Even if you plan to go there, the big gathering also attracts an unhealthy public and sometimes leads to some excesses. It is better to arrive early (from 11 h) and start early in the afternoon.
