AUTODROMO DE INTERLAGOS
Another Brazilian passion is cars. Paulista Ayrton Senna thrilled the crowds throughout his career and his death traumatised the entire Brazilian people. His early death turned him into a myth. After being overshadowed by the Jacarepagua track in Rio de Janeiro, the Interlagos circuit has once again become the Brazilian stage of the F1 championship. The Interlagos Autodrome, with its circuit of more than 4 km, hosts the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix every year. One of the corners of the circuit is named the "S" of Senna.
