MUSEU DA LINGUA PORTUGUESA
3-storey museum with temporary exhibitions on the floor and a projection auditorium on the top floor
The Portuguese language has had a museum dedicated entirely to it since 2006. The aim here is to honour this vector of culture and to work towards a rapprochement between the various Portuguese-speaking countries. On three floors, the museum speaks in an interactive way with the help of multimedia panels about the Portuguese language, its origins and its evolution. On the first floor are the temporary exhibitions and on the last floor is the auditorium where a ten-minute projection takes place several times a day.
