PAVILHÃO DA BIENAL
Pavilion designed by Oscar Niemeyer, a symbol of Brazilian modernist architecture and home to the renowned biennial art festival
A visit to São Paulo and some of its most emblematic places allows you to appreciate Niemeyer's contribution to architecture. Inaugurated in 1957, the Oscar Niemeyer building is a symbol of Brazilian modernist architecture. It is from the inside that one can appreciate the features and curves so characteristic of the architect. This pavilion hosts the most important cultural events in the city and is the seat of the famous art biennial. Unfortunately, it is only open to the public during these major events (which are quite frequent).
