Following the example of the Banco Do Brasil and its cultural centres in Rio and Sao Paulo, the Caixa bank has created its cultural centre in the Edificio Sè, a beautiful building created in 1939, on the Praça da Sè. The Caixa Cultural regularly organizes temporary art exhibitions of high quality and variety, produced by the Cultural Foundation of the Caixa Economica Federal.
