Foundation housing an important art collection since 1940 and organizing a musical presentation in the garden
The foundation houses the collection of Ema Gordon Klabin, heiress of a rich industrialist. Mrs. Klabin dedicated her life to philanthropy and in 1940 began an important art collection (paintings, sculptures, porcelain...), buying in Europe and the United States. The house was custom-built to house the works and the garden was designed by Burle Marx, a great Brazilian landscaper.
Once a month, on the last Saturday afternoon, there is a musical presentation in the garden.
