A visual festival that lights up the city and the river as much as the amazed eyes of the numerous visitors every year.
An enchanting, amusing and sometimes poetic lantern festival. Held every year at the Cheonggyecheon River and Gwanghwamun. The lanterns are actually statues of light that reflect in the water and illuminate the city. The effigies are diverse: historical figures, characters from traditional culture, cartoons and animation.... there are loads of them! This nocturnal festival is the perfect way to spend some quality family time.
