IMJINGAK
Complex housing a building with a park dedicated to unification, a center on North Korea, monuments and the Freedom Bridge.
This complex is one of the most important places in connection with the Korean War. The main three-storey building is surrounded by a unification park, a centre on North Korea and various monuments. It is also home to the Freedom Bridge, once crossed by the South Koreans during the Armistice pronunciation. Opposite the Imjingak is Mangbaedan Alter, a place where South Koreans with separated families come to practice ancestral rites to protect their families and their country.
