DORA OBSERVATORY
Observatory north of the demarcation line with telescopes for a glimpse of North Korea, a tunnel next door.
The Dora observatory is the northernmost observatory on the DMZ. Thanks to its powerful telescopes, you can get a glimpse of North Korea (probably embellished by the latter to minimize the sad reality). Right next door is one of the most famous tunnels built by the North, the3rd Tunnel. 1.6 km long, it could accommodate no less than 30,000 soldiers in the space of an hour. To visit this site, you need to go through the DMZ Peace & Security program in Paju.
