Traditional museum dedicated to Lee Byungchul's private collections, displaying Korean art objects, particularly Buddhist ones.
This building, with the architecture of a traditional hanok, is located in the heart of Everland. It is dedicated to the private collections of Lee Byungchul, founder of Samsung. You can admire no less than 15,000 Korean and especially Buddhist art objects: paintings, calligraphy... Two gardens enhance this museum. The first is a traditional Korean garden and the second is the Bourdelle Garden which pays homage to the French sculptor and his works. This private museum is the darling of the Koreans, in view of the number of "national treasures" it contains.
