DAEGWALLYEONG MUSEUM
A museum in the shape of a dolmen, with rooms named after the gods representing the four directions.
The building's surprising shape is reminiscent of a dolmen. The museum's rooms are named after the gods representing the 4 directions. To the east is the Cheongnyongbang Green Dragon Hall, featuring ceramics. To the west, Baekobang, dedicated to the white tiger, exhibits Buddhist art. To the south is Jujakbang (vermilion-red bird), featuring paintings and calligraphy. And finally, to the north, Hyeonmubang (black turtle) with bronze relics. An unpretentious but interesting museum.
