It is in secret that King Danjong is buried by the head of the village Om Hyeung-do. A first religious service took place in 1516, and then a second more important in 1541 under the responsibility of Judge Park Cheung-won who had seen Danjong in dream asking him to regain his grave. That's what he did, and he also built buildings for the religious service. Since June 2009, the tomb is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with 40 other tombs of the Joseon Dynasty.
