Road from Yeongwol to Taebek, from the wild and beautiful Route 88, along a torrent stream, then Route 12 and finally Route 31.

Route 88, beautiful and wild, starts from Yeongwol, along a stream-torrent in the middle of beautiful mountains. The road passes near the Gossidonggul Cave and the tomb of Kim Sat-gat (famous 19th century wandering poet). We then take route 12, then we get back to route 31. Turn right towards Sangdong to Taebaek. Before reaching the city is the entrance to Taebaeksan Park. It is possible to take a bus or a train, but the journey is not as nice.
