It contains the treasures of the temple including a statue of the Medicine Buddha (Yaksayeorae) from Silla. The Myeongbujeon Hall houses the statues of the 10 infernal kings. It was built in 1391, destroyed in 1592 and rebuilt in 1668. The most famous hall of the temple is the Birojeon, the hall of Vairocana, the Cosmic Buddha. It is the only one that escaped the destruction of 1592. It contains 1000 Buddha statues carved in jade under Goryeo by the monk Gyeongjam.
