Park in the heart of the city, a mountain called Songhyeonsan or "mountain with a view of the sea", with Busan Tower in the middle.
Located right in the center of town, this mountain (49 m, all things considered) is one of the city's most famous. Its original name, Songhyeonsan, meant "mountain overlooking the sea". So you can guess why it's so popular. In the middle of the park stands the Busan Tower (a timid replica of its Seoul counterpart), which nonetheless offers a breathtaking view of the city, harbour and sea. As the observatory closes late, the best option is to go there at night to enjoy the magical view.
