This beautiful building combining modernity and traditional Korean style presents objects found in the region from prehistoric times to the present day. Apart from the friendly little dinosaurs, there is above all a large collection of Buddhist art, ceramics, calligraphy and paintings from ancient times. But also the remains of a Chinese wreck from the Yuan dynasty that sank 600 years ago on the Jeolla-do coast and was discovered in 1976.
