JINNAMGWAN
Pavilion with bay view, the largest in Korea, once an inn for visiting royal officials.
What is now the largest pavilion in all of Korea was originally an inn for visiting royal officials. After Admiral Yi Sun-si moved his headquarters there during Imjin's war against the Japanese, the place was burned in 1597. Two years later, this large pavilion was built on the site. Rebuilt in 1716, it has become the favourite place for the city's elderly who come to play go or take a break. Its size is really impressive and it offers a good view of the city and the bay.
