CELADON MUSEUM
Museum displaying kilns found during excavations, pottery remains, intact Goryeo celadons and other objects.
In Goryeo's time, there were famous celadon ovens installed in this area because of the excellent soil in the surrounding area. Workshops in the Gangjin area produced about 80% of Goryeo's celadon. You can see the kilns found during excavations, the remains of pottery found in the kilns, the stages of celadon making (it takes no less than 70 days and 24 stages to produce a piece), intact Goryeo celadon, etc. Without being a must, it is nevertheless an interesting visit.
