ROYAL PORTRAIT GALLERY
Museum in the Gyeonggijeon Shrine with royal portraits of six rulers of the Joseon dynasty, royal relics.
This museum is located in the Gyeonggijeon Shrine. In particular, the original royal portraits of six Korean rulers of the Joseon Dynasty: Kings Sejong, Yeongjo, Jeongjo, Cheoljong, Gojong and Sunjong. The museum also exhibits numerous royal relics including some surprising palaquins. Without being the most exciting of Korean museums, it is nevertheless interesting and has the merit of wanting to preserve the culture of this period.
