Park with traditional houses where the scholar Song Si-yeol lived after his retirement. Beautiful landscape surrounded by hills.
It comprises a group of traditional houses where Song Si-yeol (1607-1689), an important Confucian scholar from the Joseon period, lived after his retirement. He taught here in Namganjeongsa. Aside from seeing its traditionally structured buildings, there's not much to do here other than stroll through the pleasant little park surrounded by hills. And if you're lucky, see the small pond filled with blooming water lilies. A must if Uamsajeok is on your way, but don't go there specifically.
