MOKIN MUSEUM AND GARDEN
A park of private origin, where stones and roots collected on the island have been transformed into natural sculptures.
This museum specializes in "Mok In", traditional wooden statues representing humans or animals. It includes a park of stones and roots from the island and other regions, which time, wind and sea have sculpted into original shapes, guided also by the hand of man. Many of these sculptures are made from chorok, a very resistant and dense native tree root that takes on elegant forms. There are also a number of dolharubang, the island's famous statues.
