CHEONJIYEON WATERFALL
A waterfall with clear, deep waters that takes on a new look when illuminated by red and orange lights.
This is another famous waterfall to be found in this region. At 22 metres high, it is surrounded by rare subtropical vegetation. The clear, deep waters of the basin below are the natural home of the marbled eel. At night, the waterfall takes on a whole new look when red and orange lights illuminate it. They subtly evoke the gush of lava that led to the construction of Jeju Island. It's a lovely little wink, just the way we like them, and well worth a visit.
