RYANGGANG HOTEL
This hotel that was built in 1989 has 330 rooms and is part of the first class establishments. The marble lobby (which is illuminated with fluorescent neon lights during the night and which has an atypical appearance) features a map of the reunified Korea as it was dreamed by Kim Il-Sung.
The hotel has typical Korean aspects: underfloor heating, which is very nice but also traditional beds (a very fine mattress, so be careful to back pain after the first few nights - however, it is possible to ask for a "normal" mattress at the reception). The top floor is occupied by a revolving restaurant that offers a beautiful view.
Please note that hot water is available in the morning and in the evening, during the day there may be some cuts.
