CHANGGWANGSAN HOTEL

This hotel which is located near Pothong River, offers breath-taking views of the city of Pyongyang. Changgwangsan hotel which was recently renovated has 420 rooms which spread over 18 levels. The building also houses restaurants and night clubs frequented almost exclusively by foreigners. The hotel provides simple and sometimes rudimentary equipment (sheet and blanket, without duvet for example), but it is also one of the most economical hotels of the capital. When you get inside the hall of this hotel, which is decorated with great chandeliers, you will find an impressive portrait of the leaders of North Korea at Mount Paektu. It is possible to take a picture of it while keeping a respectful attitude.
