THONGIL RESTAURANT
Because their history dates back to a hundred years ago, city and the region of Kaesong have well-known culinary traditions: kimchi bossam, Seolleongtang (beef tripe soup)... The city is also famous in North Korea for its side dishes and groups can certainly enjoy these dishes in this famous restaurant. Do not hesitate to test the chicken soup with ginseng: you can even share the dish and it is the opportunity also to taste the local plant (at about 30 euros for a pot, the price is justified by the ginseng which is an expensive plant). Finally, the most daring will taste a spicy dog soup (5 euros) which is a typical local dish: the meat has a texture similar to that of the French ragout. The spicy sauce gives an interesting taste to the dish.
