LES PAILLOTTES BEACH

Associated with the Safari Gate Hotel and its restaurant (La Brise), the Paillottes bar-restaurant («Amapayote»), just on the lake and next to the football field where the President of the Republic trains, is an adequate place to drink a drink, take a breakfast or a meal, or surf the Internet under one of the circular paillottes. On the lake, water hyacinth don't hide all birds and sometimes (rarely) the hippos that go around. We love this quiet place in the afternoon, but beware of the mosquitoes in the evening!
