LIBRAIRIE SAINT-PAUL
At the corner of Rwagasore Carriageway and Independence Boulevard, Saint Paul was the first library in Bujumbura offering new, local or imported books. Here are manuals, dictionaries and specialized books on Burundi, titles of the local press and religious works. An important tax being applied to the import of books, most are quite expensive. Also on display, postcards decorated with banana leaf, stationery, sometimes maps of the city of Bujumbura or maps of the country.
A small boutique shop offers souvenirs and handicraft products from the Great Lakes.
