MAISON DE LA PRESSE

At the corner of the Avenue des Travailleurs and Boulevard du 28-November, opposite the Gatoke district, this space dedicated to the independent (written and radio) press was created in 1997 thanks to UNESCO funding. The Central African Media organisation is installed there. Conferences and training sessions for journalists are proposed, including by the CFM (Media Training Centre), supported by the Panos Institute. You can also buy or consult publications from the print press. The site also serves as a bar-restaurant, and it is a cabaret where most media professionals can be met until late in the evening.
