KIGOBE PALACE
Above the grand roundabout of the Ntahangwa, it is in fact the National Assembly, where members sit. It is also called "Palais des congrès" or "palace of the people" (construction under Bagaza). The place does not visit, except on special invitation or authorization. It was here that the elected Presidents of Burundi, Melchior Ndadaye (1993) and Pierre Nkurunziza (2005, 2010) were inducted. At the back of the parcel, one distinguishes the old premises of the Institut Rwagasore, which was in fact the school of the cadres of the unique party Uprona. In the distance, you can see the new residential district of Kigobe, which took a few years on the unstable shores of the Ntahangwa. Pafe (immigration) is just a little higher.
