THE PLACE OF THE REVOLUTION
Framed by the ministries of justice, interior and trade, two steps from the Bank of the Republic of Burundi, this great place is a atmosphere brin outside the days of celebration. Much more than the revolution (of 1976), the central monument celebrates the supremacy of the former single party Uprona, with the symbolic gesture of its militants: three fingers in the air. They represent the three terms of the party's motto, which later became the national currency: Ubumwe, Ibikorwa, Amajambere - "Unity, Work, Progress".
