LE CERCLE DE L'ALLIANCE

The bar-restaurant is located in the former «Private Circle of Gitega» (built in 1946), a place of choice for intellectuals and executives of colonial times and the post-colonial political and economic elite. It is a magnificent colonial building. Located on Musinzira Hill, at the bottom of boma and just at the grand roundabout of the Rwagasore monument, the establishment belongs to the commune, but is now managed by the French Alliance. The kitchen, at reasonable prices, is very correct. It is also a place of exhibitions, screenings (satellite TV 5 Monde satellite TV), shows and conferences. The rooms are animated especially in the evening and the weekend and the clientele has been rejuvenated recently.
