CENTRE TEREZIYA

In the religious district of Mushasha, right in front of the cathedral, this great building is one of three places of accommodation that the Bene Tereziya sisters manage in the country (with Banga in Muramvya Province, and Kigozi in Province Province). But it is a little peculiar because its primary vocation was not tourism: It is a place dedicated to Sainte-Thérese de Lisieux that the sisters built with the help of external funds for their pensions. Over time, maintenance of the site has helped to open up to visitors, but we must acknowledge that they are not originally dedicated to them. Moreover, we must remember that in July and August the centre is almost entirely occupied by the sisters for pensions. The restaurant (in the garden) is of good quality, and the centre is resting, as often in this type of meditation place.
