CFR DE GIHETA
This rural training centre, one of the many works of the congregation of the Bene Yosefu brothers, is worth a small stop. You can visit the centre and its various workshops, including shoemaking, which was, before the crisis, very well-known for the quality of its shoes. Left almost 20 years away, the activity resumes gradually and it is possible to purchase or order shoes.
For the gourmands, a point of sale of the products of the association Twiyunge (juice and wine wine, jams, soy chunks…) was built in 2010 and it is nice to stop there to drink a blow by watching the peasants working in the adjoining marsh. To avoid missing the place, it is right on the right, coming from Bujumbura in the shape of shoe carving.
For those who would like to stay a little in the corner, the brothers also recently opened 3 rooms with health for less than 10 000 BIF at night. This can be a solution for those who would like to attend the spectacle show because it is possible, from the centre, to walk on the Site site.
