MAJOR BURASIRA SEMINAR
A monastery where priests are trained and celebrities used to sit before embarking on their careers in Burasira.
Since 1951, this monastery of impressive dimensions forms the future Burundian priests, but on its benches there have also been many personalities who have come out before their final wishes to embrace a political, scientific or administrative career.
The site enjoys an ideal calm at the bottom of the hills and it is not vain to go there for this simple reason. Another is that the seminar has a well-known specialty, the Bourasine. It is a liqueur produced by the sisters of the seminar, obtained by the distillation of pineapple (40% vol.). Its smooth taste is appreciated by many, so much so that fans have even opened a Facebook page to its glory!
