The legendary store of the late producer and legendary keyboardist Augustus Pablo has been a fixture in Downtown since 1979. The place is still "as it was", at number 135 Orange Street (not a very safe area, so park right in front of it). It has a small museum, where you can find rarities from the 60s and 45s and 33s from the 2000s; new releases and a few second-hand soul albums. Michie will be able to give you valuable advice, but he's only open 3 days a week.

Rocking International Records, one of the last record stores on Orange Street street, once the heart and soul of the ska, the rocksteady and reggae. Very warm welcome from Mitchie Williams which let you pass behind the bar to excavate in vinyls piled up everywhere. The best place in Kingston to find a disk of Burning Spear, Horace Andy or Augustus Pablo.
