This barracks founded in 1825 became a club for English settlers in 1910. In the pure British tradition, one must become a member to have access to the tennis and squash courts. Despite this, the club has a non-profit identity. Moreover, the membership fee is affordable if you stay long enough in Kingston. In fact, apart from the sports profile, this club is also a hotel which does not lack charm, fitted out in a 100% colonial style, but which is frequented today by the Jamaican black upper class.
