University of the West Indies campus, with chapel, naive murals of daily life, to visit in Kingston
The old Mona sugar plantation has given way to the University of the West Indies campus. A few thousand students from 14 countries of the English-speaking Caribbean attend. An old aqueduct crosses the property; it was used to bring water from the Hope River to process sugar. There is also a chapel and naive and colorful murals of daily life. In the Norman Manley Law School, a room is dedicated to his memory.
