KING'S HOUSE AND JAMAICA HOUSE
Remarkable building, former residence of the island's bishop, located next to Jamaica House, where the Prime Minister sits.
A majestic avenue of flamboyant trees leads to the large white building in an immense park full of flowers and shaded by giant trees. Originally the residence of the island's bishop, the property was bought by the government in 1872 who wished to make it the home of the representative of England. Like many buildings, this one dates back to 1909, restored after the earthquake of 1907. It is located next to Jamaica House, where the Prime Minister sits.
