PETER TOSH MUSEUM
A must-visit museum in Kingston, to find out more about the life of Peter Tosh and his life as an outstanding musician.
This small museum dedicated to Peter Tosh reopened in 2023 after some refurbishment. Admittedly, it doesn't have the allure of his acolyte Bob's, but it's still an authentic and instructive introduction to the genius of Peter Tosh. From the formation of the Wailers to his assassination in 1987, the museum retraces his life's journey and his talent as an outstanding musician. We discover his famous green-yellow-red wool jacket, his revolver microphone, the gold microphone given to him by Mick Jagger, or his iconic M16, a guitar made by Bruno Coon, a symbol of the fight against apartheid.
